Avs Behaving Badly: Spamming Fans

You're at a concert of someone you enjoy in a private home.  You've been there before many times and are open to others enjoying the wonderful music you've enjoyed over these months.  Some character comes in, is chatting cryptically with his friend, and sends you, and everyone in the room, a notecard.  Many don't know that this person has nothing to do with the show or venue (private home).   This happened to me recently during a TB Andel show. "You" is me, Mikalis Karas.   Non-relvant

Called out on his bad behavior, the spammer first pleads ignorance

then lols.

 Apparently getting a limo from the artist (who is most gracious and friendly and would tp in anyone to enoy his show) gives one carte blanche to spam the room.  Then the spammer turns his attention to my profile and I silence him swiftly as he is doing this during the performance.

Appears I hurt the spammers feelings.  Could it have more to do with being called out.  At least spammer's consort had enough sense to say she doesn't "want to bother anyone," but she feels the need to run her mouth a little.

Yes, we all know spamming a room with your "artists" is polite behavior.  Guess I need to learn how to be "polite."   If you see either of these twits in world tell them, "I read about you in Beers With Mikalis Karas!"

Avs Behaving Badly: Mute is Your Friend

Are you ever at a club or a live music event and your local chat and sound starts to get inundated with the silliness of gesturebators or chat spammers? Mute is your friend!   Your Mute List is located under the View Menu.  You can add folks individually by clicking them and choosing "Mute" on the pie menu that comes up.  This silences them, their chat spam and gestures.  It also turns them into a gray motionless corpse eliminating bad dancing, bling and particles.  Truly, I say to you again, mute is your friend!    Are you using this tool?
